I use Plexamp on my iPhone (in the car) and iPad (at my desk at work).
I use the track’s star ratings to create smart playlists to curate my music… to prevent 1-2 star songs from playing… and to make “the best stuff” playlist 4-5 star songs.
The stars are really difficult to tap on. They’re small and I find myself making multiple attempts in order to activate them.
Can you make them bigger?
Don’t tap, SWIPE. There should also be some sort of vibrative feedback when swiping.
even with swiping, it’s still too small, imo… I find myself having a difficult time getting the stars to focus because the tappable area is hard to hit.
I agree that some tactical feedback would be a great addition as well.
wait, i dont know why but tactical feedback is actually a thing using stars on PlexAmp for Android. It should work identically in PlexAmp for iOS. Elan might have to way in on this.
I suppose it doesn’t hurt having them slightly bigger. Big thumbs exist and shouldn’t be discriminated against.

Didn’t realise you could swipe like this which is especially useful when you want to remove a rating. I’d been using the web client to remove when I needed to but now have a way via the plexamp.

okay… I retested this on my iPhone and I am sensing a tiny bit of tactical feedback… I think I didn’t notice it ever existed because I’m typically hitting it while it’s on my car mount and the feedback is so light that I couldn’t feel it.
…and my ipad is probably too old to offer that feedback.
In any case, the tactical feedback (while kinda cool) isn’t helping me hit the tiny buttons/stars 
It seems like there’s enough space to make the a little bit bigger and easier to hit… and it seems like a pretty easy thing to update without negative effects to other features.
Fingers crossed it gets some love.
Em, yeah, it doesn’t hurt to ask what else they can tweak with the stars settings. Hopefully Elan takes your suggestion. I’m out of votes otherwise I’d contribute.

I’m still craving for the stars to be a little bigger… or at least a bit spread apart with a larger trigger area. I’m so tired of hitting my ipad multiple times trying to rate my songs.
I have a library of 40,000 tracks… and I’ve rated almost half of them… but it makes me frustrated each time the star click doesn’t happen on the first attempt because the tappable area is so small. 
The rating stars are very small and fiddly to press the right area to start rating and then if you’re using half stars things are more difficult.
Stars twice the size or more of the current size would be very good.
