PlexAmp Resuming Play after Pause at Much Earlier Point in Queue

Server Version#: 1.20.2.3402
Player Version#: 3.2.1

I’m using PlexAmp on iOS and casting to Sonos via PlexAmp. I’m not using the Sonos app, itself, to play control or play music.

I’ve used PlexAmp two days in a row and found this issue:

I’m playing music during the day via PlexAmp and pausing PlexAmp before bed. When I wake up the next day I hit play to resume where it left off. However, it doesnt resume playing the song that I paused and instead it seems to be “rewinding” to a much earlier time in its play queue and starts playing songs it already played the previous day. Since the queue only lists 12 tracks, I can’t easily ascertain just how far back it is starting from, but it is definitely more than 12 tracks, and may be more than 24 (based on when I think I recall these songs were played yesterday).

This has now happened two days in a row.

Ok, I tapped he last song in the queue to get it to play, so the queue would update.

It seems to be rewinding by 19 songs.

This is also not restricted to overnight. I had to pause music this AM while I did a few other things. When I resumed it about 1/2 hour later it did the same rewind to earlier songs in the queue.

This continues to be occurring. Is this the correct place for a bug report to be placed?

Hi @derMechaniker,

I experience the same thing pretty regularly, though it’s not exclusive to Plexamp, it happens across all Plex platforms. I’ve raised it internally previously, and bumped the issue again now for you. If I hear anything more, I’ll let you know!
