@elan might I suggest, maybe a flash or highlight or bold text to draw the eyes to the track? Something visual but subtle to grab attention.
A border, or a different icon on the left side? There is that small icon for popular tracks, maybe just a simple arrow pointing at the track? or maybe just maybe the users Plex profile image? Or maybe something that says “This One”, or “Shared with You” Or just “Shared”. Just brainstorming here. Thank you for this feature, I have taken so many screenshots of songs and texted the to my friends, this will make it much better for everyone.
Ok so I sent a few links to a couple of friends, and they tell me that they prefer I text them the image of the track rather than share the link.
In direct sunlight they didn’t notice the color difference as I did not notice it either. In darker settings you can see it better, but it is easy to miss the color difference. Here is a picture a friend sent me. I shared the link with him for track 5. With album covers that use darker colors it isn’t as easy to see if your walking outside in the day time.
Also my friend is color blind, just as another data point. A little indicator to the left of the track number would probably be easier to spot in my opinion.
As another user said, sometimes the contrast is not so strong to clearly see it, i think it is right that sometimes it is not so visible.
It may me just thought, it could be interesting to see it blink a few times.
I think it will be more visible and can be more appealing even maybe give an exiting signal !
I’ve tried to use this feature but none of the people I tried sharing with could figure out what I was sharing, so until it’s changed unfortunately it’s a none goer for me
