Plexamp - Tidal Playlists

Hi, I just started using Plexamp on Android, Mac and Windows. I have a Tidal account attached to my PLEX PASS which has a number of personal playlists. The search function in Plexamp finds Tidal Playlists but not personal playlists. Am I missing something or is it impossible for me to access them through Plexamp?

Make sure you have your library selected in Settings > Source and make sure that library has “Include in dashboard” enabled [on the server].

Thanks, that was set as you directed but found the issue. On my phone I had to change source from “on my mac” to “On Tidal”. Now I see the playlists but I cannot see my music on the home server. Is there any setting to show all music from both at the same time?

I should add, I use my home server to hold music not on Tidal so combining the 2 would be great

The way go generally “combine” is by selecting your home server a source, and we do a lot to bring TIDAL in:

  • Search results include TIDAL.
  • Artists show you albums you don’t have on TIDAL
  • Home screen shows you new releases on TIDAL from your favorite artists.
  • Artist radios include TIDAL content.
  • Similar Artist recommendations include TIDAL artists.

So at present you can’t combine the music from both plus personal playlists without performing a search with SERVER as a source? The playlists are only available if you switch to TIDAL as a source

Would be a good upgrade if you can get to that. Then I would switch to PREAMP. I like the player itself
