Is there a way to use Plexamp to play my local files on my iPhone. I just want to use Plexamp as a player of music on my phone. Not necessarily from my Plex server.
Plexamp would be much better player than the “music” app on iPhone.
Then Plexamp is not for you.
It’s such a great player. Sometimes I would just like to play local files. Doesn’t seem like a big ask to use a local library as opposed to my Plex library. The fact that it can download to the device seems a waste if it is already on my phone.

It can only be great because it has the help of the Plex server. But if the files are local, there is no Plex server to recognize, organize, and analyze them. Thus the magic is lost.
