To keep it simple, I’m using numbers to help with the illustration/explanation.

The Play button to play the entire album from the start. (no issue)

From the playlist, selecting/pressing the desired track to play, in this case, There’s a Girl, shows the following screen

This screen. And to play the track I have to press play (redundant and not needed) because

This option is already there (the 3 stacked dots give us this option if we want more options.)
The feature request: Remove the redundant second play screen and initiate play when selecting/pressing the desired track on the album/playlist from the one and only screen of album/playlist.
