So I moved my media from one disk to another. Plex remembers the play counts, playlists , recently added etc. But some of the smooth fades are missing.
I have tried running schedule tasks for a long time. But no luck.
Any thoughts ?
Have you tried manually analyzing that audio library?
Settings - Server - Library - “Analyze audio tracks for loudness” ← don’t disable it
And make sure that the server is actually running during the designated maintenance period and has access to the media files Scheduled Tasks | Plex Support
It’s not an actual “wave” form, btw.
What do you mean by ‘manually’? I have tried refreshing metadata for specific albums to see if that would make a difference. But no change.

Thanks for your suggestions, I did click the correct server settings and my server is always on.
Server is Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF …running Lubuntu.
Media is stored on a Synology DS920+
Is there some thing I’m missing ?
