I'm still not entirely sure what "on deck" does - ill have to read the release notes again. I'll definately have to do some work, as it looks like the secure access stuff has been moved into myplex, so I'll need to talk to that to maintain the remote connectivity.
I believe the On Deck items are the items that you are currently watching (i.e. partial watch status).
it's more than that. it has some intelligence about where you are in a season of episodes. so for example if you just finished watching episode 3 of season 5 of dexter, it will put episode 4 "on deck" for you. i think it's a cool idea in principle, but i think it should be a little configurable in practice, which it is not. i could imagine all kinds of edge use cases coming up where it gets filled with stuff you'd rather not have in there and then you have no way of reconstructing something that makes sense other than to wait for it to catch back up with you.
anyway, i hope that plexbmc continues for us plex heads that have a linux box on the tv.

You should still be able to access your server with plexbmc using the secure access userid/password. I accessed my server the other day with having to sign into myplex. I'm going to have a look at it though and see how to integrate.
No I did not use myplex. In fact myplex was down the first day or so.
Just download itunes. Extract the bonjour installer from inside the itunes executable. I think that was version 3+ or something. I could only find version 1.06 on apple.com.
This is probably true if you had a secure access before upgrading the server. I had removed it before I did the upgrade so now I can´t login at all except with myplex.
I just realised that I had an old deb version lying around so i installed it and added username password and upgraded again to 0.9.5 and now it works =) thx for the tip.

I see a lot of post regarding play issues in Laika (probably result of merging newer ffmpeg build) so this might be interesting alternative for those as well.

Tested it with TVHeadend and works.
Dont forget the people that use XBMC on ATV2. PleXBMC works better than the normal Plex Client IMHO. It even works on my iphone 4, but i do prefer using the Plex app on my iphone rather than the full blown XBMC.
When i first setup the PleXBMC plugin it shows all library sections of my PMS.
First problem:
All the posters are shown correctly and immediately (that’s not the problem ;)). But not the fanart. Sometimes it takes 3-5 seconds to show up the correct fanart and sometimes it doesn’t show any…
Second problem:
If i change something in the PMS via PMM, like a cover or fan art, it’s shown immediately with Plex. Not so in XBMC with PleXBMC plugin. Nothing changes here. No matter what i try. No “refresh listing”, no “refresh library section” do anything. Even after numerous restarts of XBMC, PMS and the Mac itself… no changed art is shown.
I’m using XBMC/PleXBMC on the same Mac mini as Plex/PMS.
Any ideas? Thanks!

i have already running xbmc 11 + pvr + plexbmc and it works fine, but the original xbmc needs more recources then plex :(
I already have xbmc 11 with pvr support compiled on my linuxbox. I believed I asked for pvr support in the Quartz (plexbmc) skin. But thanks anyhow.

No poster or fanart refresh... Why?
The fan art doesn't update at all. Not after 24 hours and beyond... Same happens for posters/covers.
Is there no way to solve this? At least a workaround to manually delete the cache?
hippojay - do you have any clue why my unwatched/partially/watched tags aren’t loading with PleXBMC? If I switch the skin to Quartz.plexbmc, then back to Confluence.plexbmc the plex style markers show up fine.
Another issue is that when a video I’m watching ends, it still sends partially watched status to Plex. I’ve been having the problem for a while now and i’m not sure if theres anything I can do, other than changing skin each time I switch on the computer.
Anyway, appreciate your efforts!
