The latest Github version seems to have a bug preventing accessing TV Shows at the episode level. You get a script failed error. The movies section is fine however.
Edit: Easily fixed actually. Change line 1442 as follows:

Those reporting bugs and fixes, you need to tell me what version of xbmc you are using, and version of the plugin as some issues only affect certain combinations. It’s getting a bit difficult to tea k where issues are and whether they are plexbmc or xbmc issues:

I would prefer people use 2.1 on Eden - as this gives me a platform to fix and test.
For people using frodo, I would also prefer 2.1 is used as this is known good code.
Sorry I haven’t had time to provide any further releases - Christmas is a fairly busy time. I’ll find sometime in the next two days to put something together, but then ill be away for a week.
Sort title is a feature in testing - which will probably be reversed as the code was accidentally dropped from the last frodo release (as of beta 3, haven't checked rc1 yet).

Ok - I said I would get something together before Christmas and here it is.
First, Caveats… I haven’t had time to really test this out, beyond going through normal media. It works on my windows and RPi (yep, I bought one on Tuesday), but that doesn;t mean it will work for you. More specifically, I haven’t tested channels. The problem is Christmas and the lack of time in front of my laptop - I will be back next week, and will follow up with some more fixes and testing.
Secondly, this is only for Frodo - seeing as that is what most people are a) asking about and b ) are heading. I will back port some of the fixes into eden, but I’m expecting most peopl to jump on Frodo as soon as it is released (which I’m expecting to happen before the end of the year)
So - this is a PleXBMC Version 3 release (Frodo only):

To go along with this release is a slightly modified version of the Quartz V3 skin. The changes are all around frodo handing of watched flags. I didn’t realise that XBMC was taking control of this away and letting XBMC decide internally what to do. This would be ok, if there was a way of setting partials, which there isn’t. So I had to build in some custom flags to do this for me…
You only really need this skin for frodo, not eden:

Great work! I'm testing this on my Pi as well and it seems to work great.
One thing though :) It seems that the quartz skin is eating cpu on the Pi.
xbmc is doing 90% cpu all the time when in the main menu with quartz where with the default skin it's < 10%.

This is great, its the first time I’ve managed to get this all to hang together. A couple of obvious problems seem to remain and I’m wondering if there is something wrong in my configuration.

Problems
- The media shelf for movies comes up showing recently added, but they aren’t the recently added movies as reported by the PMS - In fact I know they are not. Can’t fully figure out
what set it is showing to be honest
- I don’t get any media shelf entry for my TV library or Music - just empty
Am I missing something in the configuration - I cleaned out my prior XBMC settings
I just tried RC2 with the v3 linked above. It works without transcoding but with transcoding the highest setting that works is 480p. (some on RPi and Windows). If I switch on Windows to Eden even 1080p works. (its transcoded by an i7-3ghz/16gb ram and upstream is 8mbit while downstream is 30mbit)

On AppleTV openelec Frodo 2.95.6 I get the following error in the debug log when I am trying to use the skin:

It’s possible that frodo has bumped up the minimum requirement on the xbmc.gui module to 3.0.1. It checks this when doing an install, but not if you manually install it (by copying it into the addon directory).
Ill need to check and update.
EDIT: just seen that pecinko has pushed some quartz v3 updated for frodo (inc upping the xbmc.gui version) - I’ll get them merged in when I get back next week.
have you also got an idea what the problem could be with maxing out the transcoding at 480p (while in eden 1080p works)?
No idea on this, unless XBMC/Plex has a bug somewhere in generation/playback of these streams. I'll have look when I do the full suite of tests against frodo and the plugin next week (probably Friday)

I’am running OpenELEC Version: 2.95.6 on raspberry pi with the latest plexbmc v3 you yesterday prodived.
The problem is that, playback will not start when transcoding is enabled. I do not have this problem with eden on my macbook.
This is what the debug log tells me. Could somone help me debug this issue?

I just installed Xbian (1.0a3*) to a new SD Card so I started over fresh. My old install had Plexbmc 2.1 & the Quartz skin 0.6 working perfectly. I wget’d them straight to my Pi again from github but the skin would not install (dependencies not meet or something like that).
Now I come here to find plexbmc 3.0 & a new version of the skin, I wget’d them from your Dropbox but they both say add-on does not have the correct file structure when I tried to install.
How do I fix this?

Did you download the files on your Pi? I dl'd on Mac and had the same issue because newer versions of OS X automatically unzip files. Solved by right clicking on the dropbox link, and "saving file as" to save as a zip without auto unzipping. No idea if your Pi OS does something similar.
I too am having trouble installing the frodo PlexBMC Quartz skin, getting the dependencies not met message. Can anyone help an XBMC noob? Where is the Mac XBMC skins directory for manual install?
I SSH'd in my Raspberry Pi from my iPad then used "wget [url of the file]". Then used "install from zip" option in XBMC so my Mac was never involved. The auto unzip is a Safari thing & I use Firefox anyway. I might try downloading on my Mac then FTP'ing them over see if that helps.
Pi OS's are special Linux distros btw (based on Debian I think, I'm a Linux n00b)
I wish I had a clue what these missing dependencies are, is the actual file missing something or should I have something else installed to make it work?
I figured out why they wouldn’t install. I was Wget’ing from the Dropbox url which wasn’t grabbing the actual files. I downloaded on my Mac, STFP’d them over.
Plexbmc 3.0 installs fine now but after I try to open my “Movies” section I get a script failure. I when into TV Shows instead and they all play perfectly fine there.
Also the quartz theme still has the dependencies message, makes me think its something wrong with the actual file. It unzips fine on my Mac so its not corrupt.

I added the most recently posted plexbmc to frodo rc2 and can access my plex media under Add ons in xbmc.
However, attempting to install the skin, I get a ‘failed to meet dependencies’ error.
Running this on windows 8.
I assume I need that skin to see my plex categories at top level of xbmc menus as depicted in the demo videos at he start of this thread?
Help apreciated.

Great plugin, This is working on my Raspberry Pi with Raspbmc (XBMC 12.0-RC2-20121227). However, I have problems installing the Quartz skin (skin.quartzV3.plexbmc-v0.6) using plexbmc (plugin.video.plexbmc-v3). I get a message about dependencies. I am not sure if I am using the correct versions though - Any ideas why is the first post in this thread not kept up to date? I can find info searching this thread but its very confusing 
Would be great if I could get this integrated well into the pi for a girlfriend friendly setup B)
I get the same dependencies issue when trying to install using the same setup as above and on Crystalbuntu on my AppleTV1.
I really want to spend some time and create my own skin that allows the use of the programs from XBMC integrated with PleXBMC. That way I can easily use Amazon/Hulu. I run my PMS on my NAS so it’s not very powerful and the plugins aren’t well supported.
