Hi,
I'm a long time XBMC user who has finally got fed up wtih xbmcflicks. As such, I've been playing with Plex and love how smooth it is. However, as XBMC works fairly well for the rest, I am trying to get PleXBMC to work for netflix. I run into the following problems:
1) I get the sound to play but there is no video. However it works just fine in the plex media player.
2) If I use any skin other than the plexbmc skin, the netflix channel does not show up.
3) If I use the plexbmc skill and go to search, after I type my text, nothing appears. The search works ok in the plex player.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are the shelves supposed to work in Confluence? Also, I just opened a PR which adds support for Media Info 3 as a strict view in Confluence.

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to modify Aeon Nox, but its proving to be very very difficult to do this whilst maintaining XBMC compatibility. The problem is that PleXBMC isn't the XBMC library, so I cannot imply just add afew bits, I need to change a fair bit more. So far I have this, which is working latest movies. I also have semi working latest TV shows - but have run into a large issue. Plex provides only recently seasons, not episodes, so doesn;t actually fit with teh widget correctly. So I can display the data, but not actually play the media without some skin window overlaps and issues:

Hmm, possibly. I'll have to see how it's set - may need to add some logic to check if filtered meus are turned on and choose videoLibrary or files as needed.
EDIT: try the latest frodo branch on git, i've changed the contenttype, but can't get the overlays you are using to work, so can't check.

Seen the PR, will check it out and merge. Shelves don;t work with confluence yet. I may check it out and see if i'll have similar "Aeon Nox issues" - or whether it's a bit easier.

I think you'll need my modified version of Aeon nox if you want to have the Plex menus. Basically, at the moment, you need to have items in the XBMC library to get Aeon Nox to display the widets in the selection screen.- this means that i'd have to start making more intrusive changes to the skin. Also, as mentioned recently added Tv won;t work as it expects episodes not seasons. There are a load of ways to re-do this, but this is starting to take up a lot of time.
Plus, you'll need the widget branch of plexbmc.

with shelf, submenu items support added, PVR finished and with recent changes in container.content you made - I believe PleXBMC support in Amber is probably fully completed.
Only thing remaining that would be useful for users NOT running PMS on OS X is fan art/backgrounds support for menu items. I can add it for PleXBMC the same way I added it for other items in home menu but this will be very messy when more that 1 server is available... There has to be a better way.
Plex does this in mediastream via multiimage control which has reserved id="10101". Don't know how PMS is setting values for it, though... Multiimage control expect either an image or a folder (path) set as it's value.
Don't know if you could fetch and store home backgrounds to a local folder accessible by your script:

where "art_path"=plugin.video.plexbmc/resources/skins/default/media/plexbmc.%s.title/backgroundXY.jpg
My personal preference would be to have, say, 3-5 backgrounds fetched from recently added for that home menu item.

there is a problem with subtitles in plexbmc frodo version, it can't see .srt file in local lan, I was using 1.9.9.4 with Eden and everything was ok.
Can you adapt 1.9.9.4 version to work with Frodo plz or just tell me what I have to change in the code to get it working with frodo

Wow. 1.9.9.4 is a pretty old version - the last dharma one. It doesn't have the modifications to take advantage of the newer Eden and frodo subtitle features.
Back porting may be difficult so I would recommend upgrading to the newer frodo version 3.2.2.

I'm sorry the mistake was mine subtitle is working perfectly, I added country code to subtitle and it works now (xxxxx.es.srt)
I know that 1.9.9.4 was for dharma but it works for eden too , with frodo I didn't have the same luck :)
but I am very interested to get it working again because I am still using security remote access (not myplex) and multiple ip server
please if you have a little free time can you port it to frodo

Sorry again but the problem was not the naming as I thought, it was not the country code witch solved the problem the problem is still there.
To get subtitles working in plexbmc 3.2.2 I have to select them from plexweb first and after that play the video from plexbmc it's very strange
waiting for a fix
I can only say subs are working perfectly for me - plexbmc on os x, subs controled by xbmc and smb folders added so that subs downloader can fetch and store them in movie folders when required.

I'm having trouble accessing the Netflix channel on PleXBMC. I can see it in PMS but not in PleXBMC 3.2.2. Also when I try to play Netflix using "Play on PleXBMC Client" in the PMS, XBMC just shows an Opening Stream box and then nothing. I have the latest version of PMS and Frodo 12.2.
Subs are not working for me either with ATV2 and Plex server last version on Synology NAS.
It was working fine a few weeks ago and suddenly not anymore

I'd say the issue here is that the url is badly formatted: http://10.0.0.100:32400/library/metadata/12980?unwatched=1?t=2230080579
There are two ? chars. Is the unwatched=1 required in that case?
Anybody having a problem manually marking episode as watched?

I've spotted a bug in the Quartz V3 Skin.
It doesn't work with the Gamepad option when setting a master lock code.
If your already in Quartz V3, when trying to set a Gamepad code, as soon as you press OK to enter the code setting screen, you get a message saying "The passwords do not match", even though you have not even entered a password yet.
I thought I'd nailed it by temporarily switching the skin back to Confluence to set a Gamepad code (which worked ok) but when switching back to Quartz V3, then as soon as you try to enter settings, a similar problem occurs, rather than letting you enter the button sequence, you get a message saying, "Wrong password entered, x more tries left".
I'm trying to setup a Raspbmc on each of the TV's in my Vacation Villa, hence wanting to make the system as simple as possible (which the Quartz skin does excellently) and lock it down so guests can't accidentally screw things up.
I'm virtually there apart from this little bug. Quartz V3 does work with a regular Numeric Pin Code but then you have to have a keyboard connected to enter it, the numeric buttons on the remote control don't seem to be accepted when using the numeric option.
I have problems with the channels that capture and transcode the webkit window. In iplayer and netflix plugins, it shows the video in xbmc but no sound. I have also tried it with the debug webkit window open but what it does is that it mutes all audio from the windows mixer. If i manually unmute it, then i hear the sound from the webkit window/pms and from the xbmc. Plex media center works and the audio comes from the pms only.
