I could not find anything about this already but this new Crypto seems to be trying to leech of the Plex brand even the website/logo is very similar. just wanting if anyone else came across this?

Just making sure: Plex has nothing to do with that “enterprise”.
I’d stay away from any cryptocurrency which doesn’t communicate how it works and how to mine etc.

Whenever a new site, company, service, etc bearing similarity to our names comes up, we do investigate to see if there are any trademark (or other) concerns. We’re not exactly into suing everyone (clearly that’s not our style), but we want to protect Plex for everyone, users and employees alike. Regarding PlexCoin, I don’t see any issue as they are using the term “Plex” in a different space, just as http://www.plex.com is. Now, if their graphics looked so similar to ours that they could confuse users, then we would look at them differently. Regardless, thanks for sharing!
