Really, TCL? This is going to make it much harder to troubleshoot Plex issues by searching online.
I’m a little surprised they can use the name at all. What if Plex wanted to get into the smartphone business?

I guess it’s pms for now on…
Try googling that…
Yep… I already knew… I figured in a few year. “Plex Media Server” would get top billing

Umm Plex should look into this the smart phone logo looks just like Plex except for a color variation. Just saying
China knocks off cars, and have no issues with piracy… using the name “Plex” trademarked or not, is not going to make them even bat an eye… And since there’s no real laws against such things, prosecuting them on their own soil is extremely unlikely…
I’ll share a little story about a shoe company I know… Vibram’s. They were the first ones to make the barefoot running shoe (low profile with individual toes). They have/had their manufacturing facilities in China, but only ran it around 14 hours a day. During the other 10 hours, the factory still ran, under different management, using lesser quality rubbers and fabrics, but using all of the same machinery to make knock-offs of the same shoes. Vibram’s sells them for ~$100 on average, but the Knock-off’s sell for $30. The knock off’s are so good, you can’t really tell until you get them in your hands and can feel the difference in materials… the sizing is proper, the colors are proper, it’s just the materials are of lesser value, and since the 10 hour crew isn’t footing the bill for the electricity, it means they can sell the shoes all day long for $30 and still turn a profit.
China is crazy… But you kinda gotta admire the middle finger they’re giving to the rest of the world, heh…
