Have just gone through the installation steps and noticed the appleTV is on firmware 6.2.
I noticed in the documentation the latest firmware supported is 6.1. Are there plans to get it working with 6.2?
I can connect to the library, see the full library list, channels, etc but whenever I try to open anything I get the endless roating "star" and the waiting for trailers message.
Have spent a couple of hours this morning checking the settings, trying several options, etc and I can't see where it is failing. If restart the server and then turn on appleTV I can see the library and channel list and open a library to view contents. When i tryto open a specific media file I get the spinning star and the Accessing Trailers message. This starys on the acreen until the screen saver comes into effect. I then eit out of that by pressing back on the apple TV and then when I try to open another library it wont even show the directory listings; the same star and waiting message.
I then reboot the apple TV and when it starts I can see the library and channel lists but cannot see the directories below - sme star and accessing message. By rebooting the server and keeping the appleTV on its the same and only when I reboot the server and appletv can I see the directory lists and this is hit and miss. Sometimes they come up and other times not.
Here in the logs yo can see it switching between chanels and library; but after an initial selection where it showed something in the library and then I went back its not going any further:
Some steps I have taken:
Given everyone full control over the plex connect folder in program files
Update Java to the latest version
Tried turning firewall on and off - no difference
Made a repair of Python instal (v2.7.8)
The Plex Server is configured not to ask for authentication on the local subnet and I am not having any difficulties with that either inside the network or outside on any other device.
Really appreciate the support and work you guys put into this and any help would be much appreciated.
And here is a log file were it just seems to hang when I open the trailers app on the apple TV. In this case I just get the spinning star and Accessing Trailers message:

If you are able to navigate through the metadata but you cannot see the actual media, here is a summary of what happened to other users with the same symptoms:
The disk where the media resides is not mounted in the PMS computer in the path that PMS expects it to be
PlexConnect tells PMS to transcode and PMS does not replies in time. In other words, PMS "thinks" that the PC is able to transcode, but the PC is not fast enough (you can detect if you are in this situation by activating DirectPlay in ATV Settings, if the ATV does not support the media you should receive another type of error, if the ATV supports that media you will see it)
Do you have another Plex client available ? If yes, you can test if the media shows up in that another client.
