Hi all, I have been enjoying plexconnect with the ATV3 for over 6wks and even helped other setup the system, however trailer now doesnt connect to plex after some MS updates to W8...does anyone have experience with this, do i need and updated plexconnect script?

C'mon bro, that's not the kiwi No8 wire spirit. Granted you are on Windows which makes it trickier, but still, took me about 20 mins from starting reading the instructions to up and running again perfectly.

I take it you have to do the certificate creation on the Plex server itself?, it doesnt say...
Crunchroll actual moved to https before trailers, so you would have to do the same steps for the certificate anyway.

No you create the cert on any mac or windows pc! With windows you must install openssl, reading through the posts over the past couple of days some people seem to have better luck with the 32-bit version of openssl even if your system is 64bit just install the 32bit version!
Okay, i have done the certificate, install to trusted root on local, created new profile and added cert however my ATV3 isnt appearing in the device list on the iphone util, it does with itunes, so i know the micro USB is working....
okay guys, had to get another USBmicro cable....install the profile, added the SSL port stuff and good to go..cheers all...I gather I can use the same certs for mate friends devices and just install the profile to there devices along with the code adjustment..?
