PlexConnect conflict for those running VPNs

If you're one of the many people like me, who's using a VPN/Paid DNS service on my Apple TV, so that I can use Netflix and HBO Go and Hulu Plus in a Non-US region, then you've got a problem....

 

To fool these paid services into thinking your Apple TV is in the US, you have to use the DNS given by the VPN service.

 

BUT, to connect to your server running PlexConnect, you have to use the IP address of that server as the DNS in your Apple TV.

 

You can see where this is going - either I can use only Plex and none of the other services on my Apple TV, or, I can use everything else and not use Plex.

 

Any suggestions on how to be able to use "everything" without having to switch back and forth between the 2 DNS's?

A search on this forum using Netflix VPN as keywords will produce several answers to this question.

u can change the ip in the plexconnect.cfg file.. am not sure wich one it is but i know other people have done it :)
