Plexconnect Synology DS213 MKV

I haven't seen any official word on this.

 

I am considering purchasing a DS213 to work with my Apple TV 3. All of my media files are in MKV. I am fully aware that the DS213 will not transcode anything. Will Plexconnect working with the DS213 be able to plav MKV files?

 

Is this an ignorant question? I understand that there could be different formats within the MKV container. Does Plexconnect work with the same formats that XBMC would support?

You will probably have to remux the MKV files, a few minutes a film on a moderns PC.
