This was the coolest thing to happen to PlexConnect. I grew tired of the "new folder at terminal, sudo ./plexconnect.py xxx, github update routine." Some of you just overwhelmed him which is completely understandable. I'd feel that way too. He has a life outside of the forum. Like he said, he isn't a slave and that's how he was treated. Let him develop the basic app and then segue into other stuff if he chooses. Not everyone has the same setup, but he was trying to please the majority of us with the norm. Plus, it's free. They weren't even accepting donations.
There was a complete page of what the icon should look like. Bugs first, aesthetics and other crap later. Be patient.
I hope whoever agitated the team sincerely apologizes to them without any excuses.
No one complained, every one tried (and still trying) to help .. This app really is the coolest thing with PlexConnect on the mac and anyone wants to help on his own ways. No one complained :) We all love your app (@cyberon) very much and just want to help :-)

There is a difference between complaining and overwhelming. I didn't say anyone complained. I am complaining.
So that's it? The perfect thing came and development stopped?
No one has ever complained, please come back.
Cyberon, if you still don't want to develop at least post the source code so people can keep this up. You already worked hard enough, i guess you don't want to just put this in the trash.
If the developer is gone and the source code is gone as well I don't think there is no point on keeping this software available for the public. What do you all think?
Agreed, although it has limited functionality it is still really useful for installing and launching PlexConnect rather than have to use Terminal or other scripts. And no one has said it's dead entirely, just that Cyberon has withdrawn from the forum.
Ok someone help me troubleshoot pls... so out of the blue.. I was using it just fine.. now plexify wont run... so I tried running plexconnect it just wont connect...
It could be the trailers.pem file that Plexify creates. I had trouble with mine so assuming you've kept a copy of your original trailers.pem file (which you should have done) then quit Plexify, swap over the file and relaunch. All should be good.
