PlexIt YouTube Playlist no longer working

I had saved a list of YouTube videos using PlexIt that worked fine for several months. I have a desktop running as a server and a NAS and both worked fine. Recently some of the videos have stopped playing. I have read about advertisements causing issues. I tried playing them on a Roku4 and my smartphone and neither works. Is there a known fix for this? Thanks

Make sure that transcoding is enabled. Even though the videos are MP4, I know that YouTube has changed something in the format specs and now some YouTube videos require transcoding to work on the Roku.

Otherwise, if you could provide a link to one or two of the videos that are not playing properly, it would be helpful for testing.

Ok. Thanks for the comment. Here is an example of a video that isn’t working.

That video won’t play on Plex. Looks like Plex isn’t able to get the signature data necessary to access the video.

I will try to pass on the link, but there will just be some videos that do not provide the data that Plex needs to access and play the video. This is specially true with a site like YouTube that provides access to such a large variety of videos.

Ok. Thanks. That video worked for several months so as you say it must have been something they recently changed.

Just as an FYI for you and others in the future, if you encounter an issue with Watch Later videos from YouTube or other supported PlexIt websites, the best place to report it is in the Watch Later & Recommended Queues section of the forum. And include a link to the video that is having issues and information about your Plex setup.

Someone will usually test the URL and respond to let you know if there an issue with that video. And the community of volunteers who develop Plex channels and the website URL services (the plugin code that makes Watch Later videos play) are more likely to watch that section of the forum.

As I said above, sometimes the website just does not provide the data Plex needs to play a video, so not all Watch Later issues can or will be fixed. But the Watch Later & Recommended Queues section of the forum is where the people who know that Plex code are more likely to see your post, in case there is something that can be addressed.

Good news. This video issue was fixable, so it should work now. Thanks for reporting the issue.
