Date 03/09/2016 UK. Hi, I have just streamed videos from YouTube to my Plex, i have a Plex Pass. I have just been on my TV to play them and not one of them would play. All i keep getting up on my TV screen is this message. Video unavailable. Sorry, but we can’t play this video. The original video may no longer be available, or it may be in a format that isn’t supported. Yet when i go into Plex all the videos which i have streamed are being shown, i click onto one of them and all i get is what i have stated above. Can anyone of you help me on this problem please.

You can’t stream videos from YouTube to Plex unless using the watch later function afaik.
YouTube changed the format of videos (not all but many) and even with “Watch Later” many clients will not play them. On the Roku the official Plex app plays them fine if your server is fast enough to transcode them and you are logged into your server and your Roku with the same Plex account but the classic app and RARflix do not play them no matter what settings you try.
The Android app plays them transcoded as the Roku does.
The Fire TV also works.
The Shield works (I think it is basically the same as the Android app but the interface is different)
The Web player works
Plex Media Player works
As I said it seems that most of those require transcoding and most (maybe all) require the your server be on and powerful enough to transcode and signed into the same account as your client.
It seems, if I remember correctly, that many “Watch Later” videos will play without having your server on or logged into your account but YouTube’s newer format seems to have done something that requires transcoding on many clients.
