PlexKodiConnect: KODI keeps scanning, doesn't take no for an anwser (HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized)

KODI 16.1-RC2
PKC 1.1.3
PMS 0.9.16.4

I have PKC setup to sync my music library.
I noticed that KODI keeps trying to sync, but gets an HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized from PMS.
However, PKC comes in some kind of a loop that never ends.

On my other client: PKC without music sync -> no probs
I don’t know if it is related to the music section, but here is the KODI log of my client with problems

I think the problem is related to music library: on same machine when I turn off music sync -> no problems. Turning on again -> probs.

You are right, this is a Kodi Music issue only. Plex Music is still not working like it’s supposed to as mentioned in the Known Issues.

By the way, this is completely unrelated to the other issue you had with PKC ignoring PMS 401 answers (which should be solved). In this case, it’s Kodi, not PKC, bugging your PMS

Still the same known issue that is not going to be solved quickly - it’s a kodi limitation.

Only way to get rid of this is to use direct paths

No, to all the media. I take it your read the wiki article on Direct Paths? :wink: Unfortunately, there might be some work for you before direct paths work…
