Hopefully anyone is now able to connect to any PMS with any user :-). Reset everything via Settings → Advanced → Perform local DB reset (full Resync), then 3x “Yes” if you still experience problems.
I did NOT catch the glitch with the tv shows. However, I expanded on the logs. So if you could please post your logs here in this thread if you find any log entries containing “has crashed”. For now, items are skipped if the processing crashes.

Is your plex server connected to plex.tv? In the PMS settings, everything green with your plex.tv settings?
Yup. Running Version 0.9.15.6 on Debian with PlexPass.
Your plex machineidentifier is not found in the plex.tv response. Maybe try this: go to pms settings. Then sign PMS out of plex.tv Then sign in again. On your PMS, not Kodi!
Tried that, no change. Here’s a screenshot of my settings. Have a working PlexBMC install. Let me know if need anything else or want to prioritize other stuff for now.

That’s probably because some items failed to sync for you. Could you also please do the following
Go to item’s page: Could you please open your browser and go to the page of any movie. Then change the end of the URL in the browser to something like this: “details/%2Flibrary%2Fmetadata%2Fxxxx” with xxx being the itemids of the items that fail: 250202, 250203, 196931
Get item’s xml: then please go to “…” → Info → Show XML
Could you then post/send these xmls to me? E.g. private message or xbmclogs . Thanks!!

I have also been able to do a full scan but I got it to crash when during the scan, I clicked on video, library. After the crash, I was forced to restart the Tv show scan. It didn’t pick up where it left off
here is the log with the successful scan and the log of the crash. Also i need to delete the kodi db and texture db in order to get the scan to work.
I cannot replicate the crashes you guys experience with the library sync. I extended the logging so that we might find something. Thanks if you could try 1.0.6 and share your logs, PM if you don’t want to do it publicly
@croneter One thing I’ve noticed is that PKC can never find my local PMS after I input the code from plex.tv/pin (always gives the ‘abort’ message). The server is fully visible in my LAN and in PMS settings.
EDIT: If I say no to the MyPlex login dialog, it finds my server and the intial sync starts.
Since PKC 1.0.3 i have zero issues with the initial sync here!
But there’s something weird going on after i stop a video and get back to the menus.
I’ve made a small video to show you what i mean.
Look at the blinking of the items and background image on the home screen.
It’s especially annoying when finishing an episode of a TV show and the focus keeps jumping back to the default episode (see 0:35 in the video).
It seems to keep reloading again and again for about 40 seconds up to a minute. I guess this is due the fact PKC is still in early stages. Just wanted to point that out. Thanks!
Anyone else having issues with artwork not showing for TV Shows? All poster/thumbs are appearing for Movies and Music but not for TV Shows. I’ve tried different skins, re-install of PKC but still nothing.
Would it be safe for me to delete the databases manually and start again? If so, which databases are populated by PKC? It’s for an Ubuntu 14.04 OS.

Never experienced that, but could be related to crashes in library sync thread.
To reset your database manually (=deleting them)
Simply go to Settings → Advanced → “Perform full database reset (full resync)”. Answer first “Yes”, then “No” to not reset your plex.tv stuff and other settings

Im pretty sure your seeing the same thing I have been posting about all along. Since your skin is using thumbnails for the library list its even more apparent. It does eventually stop with some of the new builds. My guess its an artifact of the database being updated as with my setup you can also see little pop up sync messages.

tried PlexKodiConnect yesterday evening on my new nvidia shileld tv with official kodi jarvis from playstore.
on other devices i had plexbmc but this doesn’t work anymore with above kombination… (wrong sorting and wrong file (movie) date - didn’t investigate further because saw this thread and tried out…
this works perfect for my needs! but first time i thought it’s playing the wrong movies … felt a little sheeepish because cinetrailer was activated :))
So I found my old Celeron NUC and decided to set it up as a test client for this.
Running Openelec 6.0.3 with PKC 1.06, working perfectly. I originally tried 1.05 but was getting constant pin boxes as it wasn’t able to authenticate, 1.06 resolved that. Did a full library scan and all my media appears to be there. It did pop up a box saying some items couldn’t be scanned, but from a good browse through the library, everything seems to be working.
I also chucked a movie on, a 46GB bluray rip and it played the whole thing through flawlessly.
