I installed 1.1.0 but couldn’t get On Deck to populate, so installed 1.0.17. On Deck is now working, but seems to ignore my server’s On Deck time limit and is showing me half played episodes spanning the history of my server - any way to fix?
Also, would love a PayPal link to thank you for this; really impressed and thankful.
Hello, using Recalbox OS (with Kodi 15.2), can’t initialize my librairies with PKC.
Already tried to repair, still KO.
On my OSMC (Kodi 16) everything was working fine…
Problem is with 1.1.0 version of PKC, I’ve tried 1.0.7 just in case, but sync still crash…
I dont really know how to read logs but this piece seems suspicious :

Just found a major issue in PKC. There is no ability to send magic packets to wake the server. I shutdown my server nightly at 11pm. This ensures that if I or anyone doesnt use it for a day or more, it doesnt sit there and suck up power. Because its a very large server, it uses lots of power so this is important. Can you please add magic packet support in so that the server doesnt have to run 24 x7 x 365.
Thanks
Al
This is a windows server running W2k12 R2 with WOL support and ILO support.
Use the advanced wake on lan addon. PKC in advanced settings has a start up delay option. I set mine to 20 seconds. Works perfect. Use it almost everyday.
Installed 1.1.0 on a whim. Completely fresh install. Confirming On Deck is empty for me as well. Noticing that continuous sync isnt working either. Changed a poster on PMS and PKC isnt updating instantly like it did before.
Also the companion app seems to be causing issues now. iOS devices take forever to recognize that a player is available and when it finally does find one you get a spinning wheel (upper left corner of iOS device). When you go into a details screen for any media it can’t seem to load the poster etc. and initiating playback does nothing.
I found an issue with the Movie Information page vs the TV Show Information page
If in movies and you bring up the contextual menu and click “Movie Information”, everything is as it seems, and in TV Shows, if you do the same on the TV Series it gives you “TV Show Information” all the info is good here, then drill down to Seasons and and try again, you also get “TV Show Information” and as one would assume, all is good here, then drill down to episodes and and click the contextual menu, you get “Movie Information” and the info it brings up is a random movie instead of the show/episode information.
Version: 1.0.17 (1.1.0 doesn’t work, same issue others are having)
Skin: Titan
PMS: 9.16.3
I only noticed this as I had set Kodi to show info page instead of play, which I prefer for movies, so when I went to play a TV show it duplicated this and shows the info page when I click on a TV Show episode, and to my surprise, it was showing me some random movie info, like James Bond Golden Eye
This could be a known error in Kodi or it could be with PlexKodiConnect, if someone else could have a look on their setup and see if they can duplicate the error, I would appreciate it.
I’m not sure if providing logs will help as its not an actual error, just an incorrect media flag somewhere.
Cheers
KFK
(Edit)
I just checked, and this issue appears to be with all skins, but if you hit “I” on a home screen widget, the TV Information for individual episodes works correctly???

Just started playing with this today, and I’m having an error pop up. I’m using Windows 10, and the Kodi v 16.0. I’ve installed the plugin, and it’s found my Plex server. The only problem is, everytime it interacts with the Plex server I get the following error. Web server Failed to start. I can hit ESC to get past it but it reappears. If I continue to hit ESC, I’ll get past all the errors and everything seems fine. Right now I’m just testing on my desktop to make sure I get everything working correctly before I put it into production. Has anyone seen this issue before? Thanks.
Some additional info:
Started logging and found this in the logs:
11:49:33 T:7836 DEBUG: CWebServer [MHD]: setsockopt failed: Bad address
11:49:33 T:7836 DEBUG: CWebServer [MHD]: Failed to bind to port 8080: Permission denied
11:49:33 T:7836 DEBUG: Previous line repeats 1 times.
11:49:33 T:7836 ERROR: WebServer: Failed to start the webserver
Which basically says to disable the HTTP service in Windows 10. I tried this, and it worked. Rather than disable the HTTP service, is there a way to change the port PlexKodiConnect uses to something other than port 8080?
PKC uses the Kodi settings for the webserver. Simply change the settings in Kodi to another, unused port and restart Kodi.
@croneter - I have asked a lot of questions and gotten a lot of support from everyone here such as @hstamas for all of his answers, and @skavangar for the help in pointing me to the WOL addon. I just wanted to take a second to say thank you to you and all the other folks for the help I have received.
As I read through all of these posts I see many people very excited about using SMB paths instead of http. What exactly is gained by doing this and what is lost? Thanks for the help understanding the difference. I want to be sure I follow before attempting to change anything as it is working perfectly at the moment.
DreamStatic, in my case i’m from Argentina and using direct paths can download subtitles direct from kodi and save in the same folder as the movie/tvshow

Thanks again.
as danielxb says you gain the ability to use the subtitles plugin, also you get better speed (at least i do) with faster startup and less buffering.
You’ll loose the ability to transcode but i don’t know who would miss it since kodi can play everything
Just want to to say a massive THANK YOU. I have been running this today on my Win 10 with Jarvis and it works flawlessly. I have over 1000 films, 3000 TV shows and 900 songs and not one problem yet even when syncing. Will be trying this on my fire stick later this week.
Anyone have any issues with Movie Information not showing up? I tried the ExtendedInfo add-on but it fails to find the movie on the movieDB. I did have it working at one time, but for some reason it disappeared after a restart. Any help would be appreciated.
If your using 1.1.0 I would probably hold off asking/pointing out any new issues until @croneter submits an update. Its pretty obvious this latest release has some big issues so we should probably hold off until he gets something new out.
I haven’t been able to see Movie Information since version .11( works fine for Tv shows but not Movies),its weird how it works for some and not others. I am sticking with plexbmc for a while just because of this
Hmm, I am not getting Movie Information on either Movies or TV Shows. I am doing a full reset at the moment as I am attempting to switch over to SMB paths. Will post if anything is different after that. Oh and I am running version 1.0.17 and the Titan skin.

Movie/show information has been flakey since maybe 1.0.15? I probably wouldn’t waste a lot more time trying to get it working until @croneter officially addresses it. I’ve found that it actually comes and goes. I’m on 1.0.17 and sometimes I have both and sometimes I have neither. My bet is PKC is crashing a needed service of some kind.
