PlexKodiConnect: Kodi Plex Integration Done Right

Has anybody got Artwork Downloader to work with this, it will do the initial scan properly but i can’t get it to work manually

If a certain Kodi plugin does not work, try using Direct Paths, as mentioned in the wiki

Thanks…will give it a go

Great Addon an thanks for your all your hard work to develop it. I’ve used this to replace plexbmc which for some reason stopped syncing watch status. I’m running openelec on 2 seperate devices. After upgrading to your latest version I have found that Kodi does not preserve skin settings after reboot. i.e if I add a new shortcut, it reverts after reboot. Can anyone duplicate this? Apart from that seems to working great.

Don’t seem to be able to edit my last post so I’ll add here:

192.168.56.1 is another IP address of my PMS (VMWare network adapters). It seems to be trying to connect to this address but not any of the other local ones.

That is by design. The IP range of your PMS is not the same as your client - hence the PMS seems to be “remote”. If that is the case, PKC falls back to use the *.plex.direct URLs, which should always work. You can still manually plug-in your IP in the other subnet though

Thing is, it isn’t “remote”. It has multiple network adapters but one of them is on the same 10.0.0.0/24 that the Kodi machine is on (10.0.0.4). I’m not sure if it could be PMS selecting an incorrect interface as “default” but I can’t find an option in Plex to change this. Checking the plex.tv API shows the 10.0.0.2 address of the PMS listed.

Many thanks for your work and this plugin.

Again - can you manually set the PMS IP in the PKC settings? Does that work? Your LAN setup is not exactly standard

Just a quick question, if I edit something in Kodi does it map back to Plex? i.e. Cast, title, tags, etc? I am away from home so can’t test at the moment. Thanks.

Doesn’t seem so :frowning: I’ll stick manually putting in the IP address for now - I can put up with it!

Hi

I’m not sure if this is a PKC thing or a PMS thing but my ‘home videos’ are showing up in ‘movies’ in kodi.

It works fine in the plex app.

Any ideas? Thanks

I’ve noticed, music working again

I’ve also noticed, that the track names include the track numbers of the album. Is there a ability to remove these numbers from the track names?

After installing PKC 1.1.3 i can no longer sort my TV shows by “Date added”. The option isn’t showing up anymore.

Can this be fixed in the next release? Thanks.

How can I disable the “Full Library Sync Complete” messages?

I have the “show syncing progress” option disabled, but still these messages show up constantly…

Thanks

First option in the sync options:

I’m in,… will test once my 2 years been turned off plex server updates metadata!

I keep getting sync issues when attemping to first setup using TOFULinux Helix (xios ds)

Any takers?

Also, using latest, 1.1.3. First time setup on a clean setup. Initial zips went as expected.

Thanks for letting me know. Will be fixed in the next release

Thx for the plugin. Exactly what I’m looking for till plex.tv will integrate LiveTV.

Sounds great croneter! I will give it a test as soon as you post.

I still cant get this to sync past 101. Stops every single time and freezes after hitting 101.
