Not sure about that site, but all my artwork is stored locally alongside the movies. PlexKodiConnect doesn’t do anything with the artwork does it? I mean, KODI is not relying on the addon or Plex to find the collection art, other than download it if set to do so, correct?

There is no background art for The Fast and the Furious Collection. So nothing either plugin can do. This seems to happen rather often for collections. You may upload your own art to help the community

Ok. I understand what it’s doing now I think. I was looking at the art table in MyVideos.db and noticed that for movie sets it was using urls to fanart.tv. I disabled the setting in PlexKodiConnect to use artwork from there, then did a reset of the database. That cleared them out, and then I could manually set the artwork using the artwork stored next to the movies. I was wondering though, when that setting is disable, couldn’t the addon maybe insert entries into the art table to the locally stored artwork?

I traced the Kodi quitting/not starting to an issue with it being installed on an external SD card. I found by ejecting and re-inserting the card, Kodi would finally launch.
As for the other issue in Plex, here’s a screenshot.

I’ve attempted the Plex dance several times with no result. It’s not a huge deal. just an annoyance

I advise against messing with the DB directly - at some point in the near future PKC will reset e.g. MyVideos.db again and your effort will be lost.
Are you using direct paths (and not direct play!)? Do the entries in MyVideos.db, movie table point to e.g. smb://server/movies/mymovie.mkv? Local art should automatically be picked up then by Kodi, but I’m not sure.

The missing art for extras issue is completely unrelated to PKC. PKC only syncs the trailer, anyway ;-). Plus you posted a screenshot of the Plex Media Server, not Kodi/PKC. I’d ask in a Plex Media Server section of this forum if you’re still seeking help.

Yes, i understand. I mentioned that this was in Plex. i just thought this might be a common issue related to the way paths were configured for native PKC. it is outside the scope here though, thx sorry to bug.

Hmm… bummer. It was a bit tedious manually assigning the collection artwork. Yes, using direct paths, nfs://server/movies/movie (2010)/movie (2010).mkv. I wonder if the cause of local collection artwork not being picked up is because KODI is no longer doing the scraping? When I did the full reset of the database and PlexKodiConnect did it’s full sync, I went and looked at the art table in MyVideos.db. For single movies, the artwork was pointing to the Plex server via urls. However nothing was defined in the table for moviesets. I’m guessing that’s because the Plex server has no notion of such things. I don’t know though if there is anyway to have PlexKodiConnect populate this table with the same direct paths used for movies, but that would allow users to utilize the local artwork. What do you think?
Cannot play anything direct from Home Screen.
I’am running a Plex server with a few Libraries (Action, Thriller, Comedy etc) and i’am using Kodi with the Titan Skin and PKC.
I created a custom Home screen with Smart Shortcuts for every library and 3 widgets (on deck, recently added and random).
So far so good, home screen looks good and PKC is working perfectly with my server BUT when i select a movie in one of the Widgets and press enter or play, nothing happends. The movie does not start, i tried going over the info site (CRTL+D or I) and select play there but this does not seem to work either anymore. Everything works fine when i play movies direct from the library. I noticed that the title of the movie no longer is shown in the botton right corner, it only says PLEX ACTION or PLEX THRILLER. It used to work and i didnt really change anything in like a month. Any ideas? still not sure if this is a Kodi, Titan or PKC issue

EDIT: I realized that it’s syncing.
The 10-bit Transcode option doesn’t seem to work (anymore?). The bitdepth does seem to be saved not under the or the data, but as part of the data, which the PlexAPI.getVideoCodec doesn’t seem to check? I get bitdepth: none for every single one of my files when that one gets called.
I go installer now.
can i disable the syncronisation of the pictures so it loads them live. The reason why i am asking is the low memory of devices like amazonfiretv

Hi,
I noticed that KODI doesn’t resume a video where you left off anymore. It will ask you to resume where you left off, but it will always start at the beginning. Also, if you just watch a video for a few minutes, it will show it as watched in KODI. Are these known issues?

Now i Have a problem with the Passthrough feature. Previous i had plexmbc working with an smb. So i i enterd my credentials and it seems to work. But my AVR does not recive any DTS or DD. In Past he displayed it on the Pannel and now nothing. Is there any issue on that? how can i help to fix this?!
