Plexmatch precedence

Consider this structure:

TV Show (2000)/
└─ S01E01/
   ├─ .plexmatch
   └─ S02E02.mkv

Where .plexmatch is:

episode: S03E03: S02E02.mkv

Who do you think would win? Common sense would suggest

.plexmatch > file name > folder name

but right now it’s

folder name > .plexmatch > file name

Please fix the precedence so it actually makes sense. And I don’t wanna hear any excuses à la “your folder is named weird”. What’s the point of introducing .plexmatch when it’s not even being used?

Bump.

Bump.

Bump.

You might not wanna hear this, but there are (described) requirements …

TV Series folder structure as described in the support docs (or with .plexmatch, same rule applies).

Some TV show (2022)/
└─ Season 01/
   ├─ Some TV show (2022) - S01E01 - Optional subtitle.mkv
   └─ Some TV show (2022) - S01E02 - Optional subtitle.mkv
└─ Season 02/
   ├─ Some TV show (2022) - S02E01 - Optional subtitle.mkv
   └─ Some TV show (2022) - S02E02 - Optional subtitle.mkv

From the docs: Be sure to use the English word “Season” when creating season directories, even if your content is in another language.
