It would be nice if you could associate certain accounts to a "family" pass within Plexpass. That way, if you have created separate accounts for your children, they would still be able to sync episodes to their devices.
I know this is possible if you buy them all separate Plexpass accounts, but it would be nice to have some sort of discounted "Family plan."

While I have not bought more than one Plexpass, my understanding is that the additionial Plexpasses for your kids would not enable them to sync without their own PMS install. As I understand it "friends" cannot sync from other friend's PMS servers.

This is true!............... Unless you give them your (The Main user) Plex credentials. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Hence, the Family Plan should allow them to sync....
Instead creating different Plex pass subscribtion, in my opinion the better way to give extra feautures to additional users is to create the ability to do user grouping for the PMS owner on the users list.
Three user groups may be defined: Family Group, Friends Group, Guests Group.
- Family Group, limited to four users: have the same features as the PMS owner user, excluding PMS settings, if PMS owner has subscribed to Plex Pass, owner can define what parts of library can be viewed, for parental control.
- Friends Group, limited to 10 users: PMS owner user can decide if they can have or not also the Plex Pass extra features enabled, both PMS owner and users must have subscribed to Plex Pass, owner can always define what parts of library can be viewed or not.
- Guest Group, unlimited number of users: owner can define what parts of library can be viewed or not on per user basis, they cannot have extra features even if PMS owner and/or users are Plex Pass Members.

Limit the Family Group to a number of persons are not a good choice. One familiy are 2 members, the other family are 10 members.
