Plex's background colour keeps changing

Server Version: 1.25.7.5604

Howdy.
I’ve noticed that opening the web player on my Windows PC seems to occasionally change the background colour and colour scheme. It usually has a navy blue theme, but it will occasionally be light grey, and as of today it’s dark grey and black. I can’t figure out why the colour scheme keeps changing, but it will often stay changed for a day or two before reverting back to the blue theme. Meanwhile, my Raspberry Pi which hosts the server seems to stick with the blue theme and never changes.
Is there some sort of configuration option for this? I know Plex has themes for some versions of the app, but as far as I can tell it’s not available for the web version yet.

How Plex currently looks on my PC:

How the same library looks on my Pi:

You are seeing the difference between the app hosted at app.plex.tv vs the locally hosted version that is bundled with your server at http://localip:32400/web. The local version is always a few versions behind.

So this darker theme is just a new update then? That explains why my Pi and PC are looking different, but why does the colour change so frequently on the Windows end? I always access it at https://app.plex.tv/, yet the colour will sometimes change despite no updates happening in between.

Try switching to the preplay page of different music albums or album artists.
The web app is tinting the background with colors from the album cover or artist wallpaper.
i.e. similar to (but not as expreme as) Plexamp does, when background color is set to “Ultrablur”.

I know it tints the background when viewing artists, albums, etc., but in this case the “default” background colour is what’s changed. This persists through refreshing the page or reloading my PC.
