I am a long time plex pass user. But through many updates. I feel the plex is getting worse and worse. Especially the video playback feature.
Although I have read many articles analyzing the playback feature of plex. And also read many causes of bad plex playback. But today I’m writing to let everyone know that it’s so bad that I can’t stand it.
Using a device which is Redmi note 10 pro. This version has full HDR and decodes h256 videos smoothly. But when I played it in plex, bad things happened. Plex cannot play videos. although when using mxplayer or vlc. or any other player can play.
I turned off transcoding. and I want my terminals to play
Bottom line: Team plex please review your playback. End users they don’t care your cause or reason. They just need to know the results. My friends switched to E**y and used their plex pass package. I still want to use plex due to the interface and movie store. I hope the plex will give me a good reason to continue to stay
