Live TV Support using for Centurylink, uVerse IPTV
Hello Developers,I am looking at the option to invest my time, energy, finances into a working plugin that supports IPTV services like Centurylink Prism TV and ATT uVerse etc. I have a location for testing and time to really invest in this. I am seeing a market available in my area for this type of setup and it would be fantastic for others like myself in the business of home media installations etc. I am willing to track down all resources that are available concerning the equipment and the protocols involved. My questions are has anyone started down this path already that I can teamwork with or is this something that has been investigated and dismissed as not feasible? My initial plan was looking into cablecard technologies and the silicondust HD Homerun Prime. I see there is work in progress on that avenue but it seems limited documentation and code changes will be a damper on it's immediate future. However, I am looking at the information available concerning Microsoft media room devices and there is enough that an experienced programmer / developer would prosper if there is not some kind of inherent blocks put in place. Any feedback on this is most appreciated.
