PM4K / PlexMod for Kodi (18, 19, 20, 21, 22+)

Wtf? Do you have a link? That looks seriously outdated

Thanks. That’s not how the TV apps look like nowadays, do they? I thought they ditched that style (unwatched indicators vs. watched checkmarks)

I haven’t seen any solutions, but is there any way to display Smart Collections on Home? Would prefer to be able to filter out watched items from Home and Smart Collections is the way Plex suggests that we do this.

Not yet, no.

Edit: BTW, the Watchlist proof of concept is 80% done. It and its items can be browsed, but there’s no managing it yet, and we don’t check availability or playback from it, yet. It’ll probably be another couple of weeks but I’m getting there. If you want a beta with the current state, say so, but again, it’s only browsable right now (incl. all filters/sorting)

I’d rather wait for feature complete personally myself as there’s no ā€œalphaā€ branch.

Thanks panni for being a legend.

Well I’d post it zip only for who’s interested, not as an unfinished beta auto update build.

Great work panni! really great addon!
Was wondering if it is in the scope of the watchlist feature that you can add movies to the watchlist which are not yet in the plex library?

Not from within PM4K; maybe via one of the discover endpoints, but that would be something I’d have to explore for 0.8.1.

You can already do so using PlexWeb btw.

Hi! Is there a way to set an ā€œauto logoutā€ timeout? I would like my device to stay always-on and to automatically lock itself and show the profiles screen.

Nope, not yet.

Yes that is correct, but it would be awesome if it would be possible in 0.8.1 so you don’t have to switch and have an all in solution in PM4K
I have set up my environment when a movie is added to the watchlist the arr’s would immediately look for the content and if available provide the content in a matter of seconds. having this in PM4K would improve the user experience in my opinion.

But awesome work and curious what your findings will be.

Hmm, at least when going into the watchlist items, you’ll see the related discover items from Plex Discovery in 0.8.0.

Hey panni,

I noticed, that when you have two libraries and hide one of the libraries, that the movies are still displayed in the Home Screen..

I have two libraries with identical movies hit different library language so that the meta data are cached in two different languages.

Now I have hidden one of the libraries in my PM4K.

Unfortunately when opening PM4K the Home Screen is automatically selected and the movies of the hidden library are displayed as well.

Is there any possibility to completely hide the the content of the second library, like the Plex behaviour when a library is unpinned? Or to default start into a specific library?

And by the way thank you great work! If kodi would be faster direct opening PM4K and the layout of the app would be more similar to the new Plex style of android tv, then it would be definitely my main app since it works better with certain formats.

I just realized there’s an issue with the playlists.

I made a few playlists using the chronolists site. The playlists show up for the main \ admin user (My plex account user) for the server fine, In pm4k there’s a playlists library \ section and in there the playlists show up.

But if I share the playlists with a home \ managed user the playlist section does not show up and I cannot see the playlists anywhere. In the plex webui these shared playlists show up in what seems to be a built in section or library called Media.

But they do not show up in the plex app under that same built in section \ library for the managed user.

I must have a setting wrong somewhere but I sure can’t find it. When I watch things in PM4K, they don’t show as watched after I’m done. I finished both of these over the past couple days but here on other players, they show just started. I have the server set to 80% complete to be watched, and don’t see relavenet settings anywhere on PM4K. Cache?

In Settings/Main there is a setting called Video Played Threshold. It says that you should set it to the same value (percentage) you have set in Plex Media Server. By default it’s set to 90%.

AH HA - the ā€˜match server settings’ is what I had never noticed. I had changed it on the server a little while back. Thanks!

We just use what the plex server returns for /hubs at the moment. Please take a look at your server settings and uncheck said library from home.

I’ll take a look once I’m back from vacation.

Huh? Did I already implement that? Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying. I have this feature on my list, so nobody has to touch this anymore, as I’ll try and get that setting directly from the server, if possible.

You’re welcome!

When you hover over it it says below to match what you set in the server. But yes, having it just do it auto would be perfect
