No, it does not - for some reason - but you know where to find it.
If you don’t need TV View, or any of the other “Enhanced” Features of PMP, The new Player is probably good enough. If you find those “Enhanced” features necessary (only available for setting in PMP’s TV View, incidentally) then it’s a good thing you know where to find PMP.
The differences are fairly obvious - and the ‘attempt’ by Plex to remove PMP from their lineup - didn’t go over well with the community (so, yes, PMP will be around for the foreseeable future):
