PMS 1.14.1.5488 and up-to-date Android (+FireTV) apps not working

Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: Android phone: 7.9.0.8439, Fire TV Stick 4K: latest stable from AppStore

After updating PMS to version 1.14.1.5488 in Windows 10, my Android phone app and my Fire TV Stick 4K app force close immediately after launching. Clearing data and cache doesn’t work. After that, I am allowed to sign in and link my app to my server but as soon the apps start loading some content, the app crashes. Tried several other versions of Plex app on my Fire TV, none work. Everything worked perfectly well before PMS update. Windows 10 and MacOS media players work without problems.

UPDATE:

Rolled back PMS server to 1.14.0.5470, force closing after opening the app issue still persists on Android phone and FireTV Stick 4K. Older versions of Plex app don’t work either. No idea what to do to here.

UPDATE 2: Plex plug-in for Kodi 17 works without problems on Fire TV and Android phone. Must be a conflict between the new server and native Android apps.
