PMS 1.15.3.876 - Don´t read ID3 Tag

Hello Plex Team,

with the lastest stable PMS 1.15.3.876 are some issues with my Audiobook library and read the ID3 Tag when adding new ones.

It looks like the PMS don´t read the ID3 tag, no Covers nothing… With older PMS 1.14…, it works fine…

Fo testing i have stored some *_Cover.jpg files in the audiobook folder, but PMS don´t use it too.

What can i do?

Uninstall (don’t purge) and reinstall the previous version.

Is That an know issue?

I can’t go back, my PMS runs on an managed Server (Bytesized). And for my other Thecus PMS are no Plex Available because Plex wait for an Firmware Upgrade…

We’ve not had time to test it but will do so now.
Engineering surprised us with a short lead-time on the release

Given others aren’t reporting it, you might have marginal tags .
I use Picard to write ID3 2.4 tags

Okay, i have done some tests with my Thecus PMS 1.14.1.5488

Here are all work just fine, Plex Read ID3 Tag and show me the Cover…

EDIT: I also noticed that the system generates an extreme io load. In PMS Dashboard is nothing to see

With 1.14.1.5488 it works…
