No, I didn’t edit anything - why should I ???
I am running Win10 and MS Edge to communicate with servers.
I attached crash report file instead the one that you are probably looking for.
I am running maintenance services automatically on daily basis and until now, there was no any problems with my Db.
Any news ChuckPA ?
Sorry for delay. I am out on medical for a bit (had emergency surgery).
I cannot help with Windows very much but first and foremost, need a valid ZIP file from “Download Logs”
Please work on resolving that.
Chuck. don’t worry about it.
Health is the most important.
Get well.
I will wait for next official upgrade.
It’s ok for today. I’m good. Tomorrow we will see.
If you can grab the logs, maybe it’s a quick solution.
Those items in your library which show “0 Movies” are collections, I’m pretty sure. There’s more information about collections and how they are managed here:
https://support.plex.tv/articles/201273953-collections/
Collections can be created in a couple of ways, either automatically via a library setting or manually via tags applied to your movies’ entries. If you don’t want collections to be created automatically, edit your library and ensure “Use collection info from The Movie Database” is not selected in the Advanced settings. You can hide collections by editing your library and selecting “Disabled” for the “Collections” setting, again under Advanced.
Plex Media logs
Until now, I have not seen any changes of date to “0 movies” - but I corrected this already.
The most annoying are issues with AVI playback.
I have huge collection of videos and never got any issues with Db until this PMS upgrade.
Also while playing more with Db I noticed that from time to time everything freezes and I’m getting error messages like “script too long” or similar - never seen these before as well.
Problems with AVI playback are even worst.
Now also when I stop playback it will start by itself.
Thanks for responding trumpy81.
I took your advice and disabled the Hardware Acceleration - this didn’t helped.
Besides, I have this on for about 4 years now, and this never caused any problems.
I do not believe that hard drives are the source of the problem.
Here is why.
I have Plex running on two Synology disk stations and when using the current version of Plex playback of AVI from both of them generates problems now.
I have backup and AVI files are not corrupted in any way, besides I can play them directly from servers outside of Plex using for example VLC and there is no issues involved.
I do not need to rebuild my libs - all are fine now - there were some strange errors that I already described and I corrected a few issues manually by removing and setting up again.
The only very annoying issue is with AVI playback of any AVI on the servers.
I noticed even some strange pixelization during playback.
Someone reported similar issue and that it disappeared with new version of Plex, so I decided to wait until it will be available as official update.
Just upgraded to now officially available PMS 1.18.0.1944.
No more any issues with the AVI files playback.
