PMS 1.23.0.4497 Transcoder no longer transcodes anything

Sorry about that. I’ve attached my logs here.

Plex Media Server Logs_2021-05-07_20-43-36.zip (537.5 KB)

@mushuwushu

Thank you for the logs.

I see where the transcoder is failing with a seg fault. That’s VERY odd.
I just did a test last night for Docker which was successful.

May I get a 2 minute sample of that video file so I may retest/recreate here?

This only happens on the beta version though. I’m not sure if this is specifically related to this video as I can’t transcode any videos I have. I’m doing software cpu transcode only.
Still want a sample video?

@mushuwushu

yes please. I will test/recreate here with software transcoding

@ChuckPa
I somehow was able to trace the cause of my transcoder problem. Having my transcoder settings to “make my cpu hurt” would cause this issue and any other settings would work fine.
I’ve tested on a new docker on the same unraid server (intel i7-7820x cpu) and on another unraid server (intel i7-4770)
On a new docker the issue remains but on the other server it doesn’t cause any issue.
