All PMS versions (oficial & beta) released after the 1.40.3.8555 will not automatically generate video preview thumbs when lib is set to “generate video preview thumbs as sheduled task and when media is added”.
I reported this before starting with 1.40.4.8598 but this issue was not resolved.

When media is added PMS will not generate preview thumbs.
Can you please provide server logs. It’s working correctly on my end so I will need to see what’s causing your issue.

I attached two server logs.
First is based on PMS 1.40.3.8555 - no issue here.
Second based on the PMS 1.40.4.8679 issues here with preview thumbs.

Thank you, unfortunately it looks like you have Debug Logging disabled so there isn’t much in the logs to go off.
You’d need to enable that and then let it try and run the analysis again.
Debug level is enabled???
Anyway, I can get preview thumbs manually by using analyze, but automatic does not work.

Do you have issues with both movies and TV shows?
Yes, only intro works automatically, previw does not work as set in libs.

1.40.3.8555 works fine, when I switch to any PMS version above it fails to do auto preview thumbs.
