VPT (Video Preview Thumbnails) not generated automatically upon adding media

Hey guys,

I just noticed that VPT (Video Preview Thumbnails) are not automatically generated anymore upon adding new media. Of course I have it enabled in the library settings and in server → libraries → Generate upon adding media and as scheduled task.

The weird thing is that it’s generated for some media items and for others it isn’t. I don’t see any connection or rules when they’re generated and when they aren’t.

Please find my PMS logs attached. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Server: latest beta.

Same problem. Also turned on in the library settings. Analyzing media manually triggers them immediately.

Happening to me as well. Version 1.40.4.8626

I have the same issue since the last server update (1.40.4.8679 on asustor nas). Adding new content doesn’t trigger the thumbnail generation anymore.

I’m having a similar issue, but only with the Photos library. New things added require me to manually analyze the photos library to generate preview thumbnails. The Movies & Shows libraries automatically generate just fine.

Same issue over here with latest server version.
