This began a couple of days ago and the server continues running in the taskbar but is unreachable. It will run for a few minutes and then deadlock. This may have coincided with the Windows 11 24H2 Update Preview ( KB5055627). I’m running the server on Windows 11 Pro 24H2 Build 26100.3915. Please help! I’ve tried reinstalling the server over itself but that hasn’t helped.
Have you tried this: Uninstall but don’t delete user data. Restart. Then install again. Make sure you know where your Plex user data is and that you have a backup of that folder. Sometimes child processes get left behind and the new install can’t install properly because the files are locked by a process. So restarting helps with that.
I gave that a try but didn’t have any luck. It was worse somehow and wasn’t loading the webpage at all after opening PMS. I uninstalled again, rebooted and then downloaded and installed the new BETA release and it is working now. Hopefully it is resolved. Time will tell. Thanks for your help.
