Hello all. Here is my problem and I hope you can help. I am running the Plex plugin on my FreeNAS system (FreeNAS ver 11.2). I’m unsure how to check which version of Plex plugin i’m running, though there has been a reminder to upgrade up to ver 1.21.1.3830, I was running Plex just fine until last week.
Now when I use the app on my phone, TV, tablet it says under the “recommended” tab that i need to update the server. But if I click on the “library” tab, my movies come up as normal. However on my TV, its stuck on recommended and I cannot see my library at all. The only way I can find a movie is if I search for it specifically. I hope this all makes sense. I know this is kind of long, thanks for the help in advance.
I plan on doing a video late to capture all of the issues on my end to see if that helps.

For some reason it says Windows server in the tag line, but as far as I can tell it’s a FreeNAS server . Anyway, I do use FreeNAS, too, and for me it’s running just fine. It seems to be related to your TV, so if possible try updating the app there and if that’s not possible try to reconnect the TV to your server and try again.
I’m adding the 3 captures from my phone, but it’s the same issue on my TVs as well. The only difference is that on my TV you cannot view the library tab, and have to search for a movie before anything shows up.
it says there is an update, but when I try to update via the FreeNAS GUI or through the shell it seems like it is not updating. I’m not super smart on FreeNAS, but that was what I could find on the net to help me try and update.
I’m not sure either. I only have one plugin in use (SyncThing) and for that choosing “upgrade” from the GUI works. But I don’t know how I’m suppose to upgrade the entire thing to a new FreeBSD release unless I have to trash it and readd from scratch.
Since 11.2 is long EOL now, possible the plugin is no longer updatable?
Sounds like you should ask about this on the FreeNAS plug-in forums.
