iOS Plex App shows Movie Library as "Server currently not available" but Music, Photos are available

Server Version#: Synology Plex Media Server, 1.19.3.2764-ef515a800
Player Version#: iOS 13.4.1, Plex App 6.11.1

Hi,

just a few days ago I updated my PMS on my Synology DS216+II from version 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238 to the latest release 1.19.3.2764-ef515a800. Since then I could not access on my iPhone (iOS 13.4.1) and Plex app (6.11.1) my Movies Library which is stored on my NAS. While the Home Screen shows all last added movies, photos and music when I want to navigate to the Movie Library I get the message that the Server is currently not available. This only happens when navigating to the Movie Library. No issue for the Photos nor Music Libraries which are all on the same NAS. Also I can play the movies from the Home Screen (the shown “recently added”) without issues.

When I access on Safari via “app.plex.tv” there is no issue at all and I can view and access the Movie Library and every movie plays fine.

When I quitted the Plex App on iPhone several times and open again it sometimes starts to show the Movie Library for 1-2 seconds and then the notification shows again the the Server is currently not available.

I installed and tried on 2 different iPhones and on an iPad with the same issue.

I tried to downgrade to my previous PMS version but that doesn’t seem possible.

Any idea for a solution?

I followed above procedure but also remove the Shared Plex Folder on the NAS and do a complete clean new installation.

I tried it without deleting the Plex shared folder but that did only led to PMS being “halted” on the NAS. Manual restart only worked for a few seconds then PMS was halted again.

Now it works again
