Well this was going to be a post complaining that after adding my tuner and completing the channel scan, I got an error that the tuner was unavailable for every channel.
I finally had it, and did a factory reset on the Shield TV Pro, and spun everything up from scratch. Well, now PMS won’t start. It doesn’t even show in the app so I can’t tell it to start or stop.
I don’t know how anyone says Shield TV Pro is the best way to host PMS when it doesn’t work from scratch. What do I have to hack to get the stupid thing to work?
This is probably the 15th time I’ve rebuilt PMS on this device, and I finally moved my main instance to Windows, but unfortunately I have no reasonable method to move my TV tuner… so I need Shield to at least run a simple PMS with tuner with no libraries.
