PMS can not play m3u8 streams

Hi.

I have the last PMS version with Xteve 1.4.4 and I have the problem that all the lists i found are m3u8 format, also the public ones. And the PMS show the error “PMS can not play m3u8 streams”

Has anybody found an solution for this issue?

Does the plex development team plan to solve this issue?

Probably best to ask the developer of Xteve.

Thanks. I could see in discord ( xteve support ) the futura improvements.

  • Separate tuner setting for each playlist
  • M3U8 support (only with buffer)
  • Buffer is now also possible with xteve.m3u
  • Re-stream (only with buffer). Different clients can stream the
    same channel at the same time (Plex / Emby / M3U)
  • Support for dynamic bandwidth playlists
  • New filters (group filter)
  • Custom channel logos
  • Image caching
  • The processing of XEPG data is much faster
