PMS categorizing self-actors inconsistently as well as incorrect sex

PMS is scraping (scanner and agent both set to “Plex Movie”) and showing certain self-cast members inconsistently (Self or Himself) including sometimes as the wrong sex (Himself or Herself). I would recommend that Plex follow suit of services such as IMDB and simply use “Self” instead of “Himself” or “Herself”.

I have attached images of incorrect self-designations as examples.

Does this remain an issue after you refresh the item metadata?

All actors for The Great Buster (2018) are now “Self” with a refresh. Thanks!

@drzoidberg33, to follow-up: Not all of my documentaries have changed with a refresh of metadata. Most of my 89 documentaries have, but a random selection have not and still show Himself/Herself instead of “Self”.

I’m not certain if that was the intent or not, but I have refreshed all metadata for that library a couple of times now with no additional changes.

The data was incorrect at themoviedb where actor info comes from. The Great Buster was fixed a couple weeks ago there. I imagine more still need to be fixed.
