The Plex does not seem to stay running on my Synology DS1019+ NAS. I’ve had this installed for perhaps six months now and haven’t noticed an issue until recently. I can re-start the app for some time by hitting “run” from this menu, but it doesn’t seem to stay in a running state for more than a few minutes(File removed) until stopping again.
I open a ticket with Synology and we checked the units memory and the processes that the NAS was using and it looks like the Plex task was hanging and then using more and more ram until the process the NAS uses to keep it from crashing closed it. It looks like that the Plex is signaling that it is dumping error codes but what those are, they do not show on Synology logs. Looking at the errors on the NAS it looks like the program itself is having the issues, and not the NAS. I need help to resolve this problem.
