PMS for Mac Ignores “Replace lower resolution items” DVR option.
I can see that others reported this bug 2+ years ago, but bug still is not fixed.

(I have long suspected this feature never worked, but have not managed to catch PMS in the act until today.)

I have always had “Replace lower resolution items” DVR option set as the default:

The OTA Live TV movie “Delirious” was previously recorded from a 480i broadcast and was present my PMS Movie Library:

The OTA Live TV movie “Delirious” is scheduled to air in HD in roughly 23 hours:

I scheduled the OTA Live TV movie “Delirious” airing in HD to be recorded, but PMS stubbornly refused

despite “Replace lower resolution items” DVR option being set for such schedule:

Only after I deleted the OTA Live TV movie “Delirious” 480i recording from my Library, did PMS then actually schedule recording the HD airing:
