PMS hardware died then deleted from account and new PMS cannot complete fresh setup

Server Version#: 1.32 on Windows 7 Ultra x64

My original PMS was running on a Windows 7 Ultra x64 based server then it recently died. I built a new PMS computer running Windows 11 x64 with the latest version 1.41.3.9314. The process of claiming the old server would not complete no matter what directions I followed from the support community. Registry changes and copying files from slaved HD were all attempted. In haste, I deleted the old server from my account in an attempt to start from scratch.
Now when I start the Plex Media Server app, I get the Plex page with Getting ready… and this in an infinite loop. I can only see my friend’s server when I login to the Plex Web. I cannot turn on logging, because my server is no longer there to choose that setting. Please help!! Lifetime Plex Pass member. I just want to start from scratch.

Server logs should be accessible from within your local file system (see path in the linked support article).

The log contains tons of errors, starting with the server not being able to resolve the IP address for the host plex.tv
Let’s check your DNS setting on the new system… you could e.g. (temporarily) switch to a DNS server that’ll properly resolve those hosts like Google (e.g. 8.8.8.8) or cloudflare.

Wow. You made my day. It’s currently updating the library after setting my DNS to your suggestion. Thank you. I will reply once it finishes scanning the library files as a new server. Here I was trying to dig a tunnel with a spork.
