PMS is ignoring Show Seasons setting

I use PMS as my DVR, and with the start of the new TV season this week I’ve got several new shows I’ve started recording. For my “Recorded TV” library, under advanced settings I have Seasons set to Show. But for all of the new shows (shows where this is the first season), when the first episode recorded it changed the setting to Seasons:Hide. Just to be clear, when I go to advanced under properties for a show, it shows Hide. I’d think it should show “Library Default” but it shows “Hide”.

Now, I can manually go in and change these all to “show” which is what I want. But why did it change them to “Hide” in the first place? Is there another setting or option I’m missing?

Seems odd, what’s the point of setting a library default if it’s not used…

Any help is appreciated.

Does no one else have this problem? Makes me wonder if there is a setting somewhere, but I’ve not been able to find anything.
