I am running cloudsync for my 225GB dropbox and I am unable to cancel the scan thinking that may be the culprit? Also it has only 61 photos in the 2 days it has been running, I have over 1000s of photos in my dropbox

You put media inside the Plex share, OR, You told Plex to look under Library for media.
The Plex share is for program use only.
Put your media in other shares YOU make.
Control Panel - Shared Folders - Create your media shares here.
As you create them, give user Plex permission to read the media.
When you refer to them in Plex, you use /volume1/Sharename in the library folder list.
I only made the Plex share visible to allow for easy access to log files.
I also put a notification in it to “Please do not add media here”.
Ok so I change the path of music to Volume1/music and Photos to Volume1/@Cloudsync which is my dropbox folder that has pictures, videos and files. do I need to cleanup space from the root to stop the crashing?
Yes. It looks like youv’e completely run out of space.
What does DSM show as free space for Volume 1 ?
Volume 1 says 9.61 TB free
Ok… And no media is inside the Plex share, No remote media mounted there, etc. The plex share is now left solely for PMS use?
You have moved your data mounts to another share?
Can you adjust PMS references (Library folder lists).
Restart PMS
Scan files,
Empty Trash,
Clean Bundles
Optimize Database
and pull a fresh set of logs? We might still need to adjust things

The only support Plex provides is through the forum. There is no “Premium Support” service like you request. It was suggested but nobody was willing to subscribe to it.
Plex isn’t Apple w/ Apple Care optional support . Hopefully someday, but not yet.
