The same issue happens to me on HTPC on Windows. Server is Ubuntu 22.04.1
Seems it’s across multiple platforms.
Happens for me. Server is Ubuntu 24.04.1. Multiple Clients not just HTPC. Whole server goes down for everyone
Here are logs that show its running something and then it looks like the DB dies and all I get after that is the SLOW QUERY lines

I’m seeing the same issue.
Server is unraid with docker.
I reproduced this with Plex HTPC 1.63.1.163-53e43905 on Windows 10 against PMS 1.41.2.9092, linuxserver docker, unraid 6.12.10, kernel 6.1.79
Didn’t even need to play media to trigger it, just going into a pre-play screen on a piece of media triggered it.

It’s only doing it for Plex HTPC on windows for me but it crashes PMS consistently and immediately. Only thing I can watch is on the deck. If even so much as attempt to look anywhere else it crashes within a second.
same here, server running on arch linux and plex htpc clients
had to rollback
Just verified this happens when accessing from a Vizio TV
Ok for me it’s the Invalid fields errors that I get that crashes the server. Posted in my logs above
