PMS No longer removing deleted file

Player Version#: 4.54.4

Since upgrading to server version 1.22.2.4264 PMS is no longer removing items that I have deleted from the local media folders. After removing the files, PMS is detecting the library change and is running a scan, however, it is not detecting the file deletion and the item remains in my library.

Just wondering if others are seeing the same behavior after installing this update?
